Dried White Dahlia Blossom

After taking a photo of this I set it aside and once dry I found it attractive with the rustic markings on it. Added my own texture overlay in Photoshop CS5.

Plectranthus Vine leaves - closeup

Photography By Sandra Foster
This is a trailing vine with lush bright green leaves. Highly recommend it to cascade over the front of a large pot.

New Guinea Impatience Plant

I grew this as a outdoor potted plant. It bloomed till frost threatened then I brought it in and enjoyed it as a houseplant. The blossoms are very delicate.

Pericallas - Seneti Deep Blue Macro

This annual potted plant has such a beautiful blue blossom. Grew it for the photo opportunity of the blossoms.

Tagettes Macro - Marigold

A closeup (macro) shot of Tagettes. A small blossomed single petal marigold. I grow this plant in pots. It has fern style leaves with a pungent scent. One of my favorites - blooming till frost. When I bring the nursery plant home I snip off at least one third of the foliage. This gives it a nicer shrub look in the pots.

Gazania Macro

Grew as a potted plant. Love how the Macro shot revealed all the markings in this annual which bloomed all summer.

Blue Angel Blossom Macro

I love trying new plants. The foliage looked so lush but had no idea what the blossoms would like like. They are the most vibrant blue. I planted this annual in a pot and it bloomed all summer till frost. It grew about 1 1/2 feet high and the foliage had a very pungent smell. I found out later that it belongs to the sage family.
