Chive Blossom Macro

Macro Photography By Sandra Foster
The lowly chive!  Little did I know that if I took a shot of it with my Macro lens it would reveal such beautiful detail.  Can be purchased as a card or print on my Red Bubble Portfolio: "Soft and to the point":http://www.redbubble.com/people/sandrafoster/works/9938214-soft-and-to-the-point

Squash Tendril Macro

Macro Photography By Sandra Foster
A round and around we go looking for something to anchor to.
Found it interesting how the macro lens revealed even the "hairs" on this tendril.

Lady's Mantel

Lady's Mantel By Sandra Foster
One of my favorite perennials.  Notice the leaf in the centre, just unfolding.  Raindrops sit on the leaves like garden diamonds after a refreshing rain.  After this plant blooms (yellow) I cut it off about 2 inches above the "crown" and it comes back as a nice tidy clump and stays that way for the rest of the season.

Bleeding Heart Macro

Two Bleeding Hearts! By Sandra Foster
This lovely perennial is early to bloom.  I have found many seedlings under the plant to pot up and give to my garden friends.

A Pleasant Sitting Spot

This was always a pleasant spot to sit and capture the morning sun rays or relax in the shade of the evening.  One year I planted Scented Evening Stock in the nearby flower bed ... oh so enjoyable in the evening also.

Semi Double Campanula Macro With Texture

These campanula blossoms are so tiny - but with a Macro Lens they look larger than they really are.
  Processed in Adobe Photoshop CS5.
